Trike.Owners.United.Ride Presented by Roadsmith

Recap

As most of you know, Roadsmith hosted the first-ever, multi-brand, trike-only ride at Sturgis this year and it was, by all standards, a tremendous success.  Starting in the small town of Hill City, SD (a little over an hour from Sturgis) we pulled together over 125 people and 85 trikes for an event that will be remembered and repeated for many years to come.  The event was aptly named the Trike Owners United Ride and used the acronym “T.O.U.R.” for which it soon became known by all.  Celebrity appearances by company founder Dick Lindholm and wife Helen, were just some of the surprises that awaited those that showed up for the event.

In addition to being very well attended for an inaugural event, the attendees were incredibly enthusiastic and represented a cross-section of the trike community in terms of trike brand, age, sex and geographic diversity.  We simply could not have had a better mix of people and trikes to attend this event and the fun we had along the way certainly proved that.

Following a scenic ride through the beautiful Black Hills, we made our way back to a catered dinner and reception hosted at the Russ Brown Event Center by our hosts, the legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip. The evening was complete with a classic rock band, brief introductions to key Roadsmith team members and an array of door prizes including a Go Pro Camera, assorted trike accessories and a Buffalo Chip Epiphone guitar signed by the company founder, Rod Woodruff.  Due to the generosity of donations from our business partners, just about everyone that attended the event won a prize or at least got some SWAG to go at the end of the event.  A day and night to remember for all!

We have already signed on for an even bigger event next year with the Buffalo Chip and we hope to have even greater participation from our dealers, customers and prospects alike.  We will be sharing the deals for next year’s event as they come together and hope that each and every one of you might plan to take part in this epic trike event.
